“Come Walk with me,” whispered my Wise Inner Self. “We will make no plans and have no destination, but we will just walk.”
I’m not sure about you but how often do you ever do anything that does not have a goal at the end of it. If I walk, it’s to work out, be healthy, regulate my circadian rhythm, see blue sky (also to regulate circadian rhythm), be creative, solve problems, get inspiration from nature etc etc etc.
The list is long. There is always a destination in mind. While having a destination and goals are fabulous, there is also something so quiet and peaceful about taking a walk with no agenda, no achievement, no thing to accomplish in mind.
So I did that walk with my Wise Inner Self and offered the walk to the Divine and I really felt my heart and mind open up, I saw birds twittering away in full confidence of the songs they were meant to sing, I heard the gurgling of a stream that felt as if it would always ebb and flow and bubble with creative insights, I felt the cool wind that day which greeted me and washed right through me as if to cool my thoughts and my spirit. I saw giant signs that day that read “Dwell in the possibilities” and another one that said “Stronger”
I got everything I needed without asking, wondering, praying, hoping. There was no striving or reaching.
It was the perfect learning during the walk, because a lot of us think that once we achieve that goal we get the dream life. Lose 10 pounds - dream; leave corporate job - dream, move to Maui - dream, but really the dream is NOW. It’s not wrapped only in achievement, end goals and what’s outside of you.
This Full Moon, my own personal challenge is to see my life through the lens of “The Dream is Now” and what I don’t feel great about my life, I will do less of; and what I love and I feel is important, I do more of.
I love this quote by Thich Nhat Hanh as well. “The way must be in you; the destination also must be in you and not somewhere else in space or time. If that kind of self-transformation is being realised in you, you will arrive.”
It makes me feel I can take my time, I do not need to rush to get anywhere and eventually we will arrive wherever we are meant to be. In the meantime, I will learn to walk in the now, I will learn to walk in the Dream, I don't need to arrive anywhere.

I'm going to share more about the notion of Letting Go and Allowing and how Divine Wisdom and Solutions drop in when we are in that receptive state.
